Why Rain Village should participate 4th Shinobi World War

Akatsuki

After the deaths of the leaders of the Rain Village, Nagato and Konan, the village was largely ignored for most of the war and the rest of the series. Rain Village’s absence is truly a disappointment.

The 4th Shinobi World War represents a major change in the Naruto world. For the first time, all 5 Great Ninja Villages form an alliance.

Years of war and conflict have been shelved for the greater good of the world. The possibility of lasting peace seems achievable at last. But notably, Amegakure – Rain Village, disappeared from that alliance.

After the deaths of the leaders of the Rain Village, Nagato and Konan, the village was largely ignored for most of the war and the rest of the series. Rain Village’s absence is truly a disappointment.

Their entry into the alliance and the war will aid in the defeat of Akatsuki and will also reinforce the themes of that section. The Rain Village may have helped lead the world into a new era of peace instead of being forgotten in chaos.

The Rain Village probably suffered more damage than most other villages

Like many other villages in the Naruto world, the Rain Village knows firsthand the devastation that war causes. The Rain Village has probably suffered more damage than most other villages since it is surrounded by three of the 5 Ninja Villages.

During the 2nd and 3rd Great Ninja Wars, the Rain Village was used as a battlefield, turning most of the Village’s population into war refugees. Out of all the villages, the Rain Village has the most reason to distrust other countries.

This will make their participation in the alliance even stronger. The Rain Village will demonstrate its willingness to let go of its grudges for the betterment of the world and a chance for peace.

Akatsuki was created in the Rain Village during the 3rd Great Ninja War. The organization was originally a pacifist group with the sole goal of ending the war that ravaged their country.

However, due to the death of the first Akatsuki leader Yahiko by Hanzo, the successor leader of the Rain Village was manipulated by Obito and Black Zetsu, causing the organization to gradually change for the worse.

Akatsuki took a different view of their peace and began to recruit Bat Ren to help in their goal. It will be interesting to see the Rain Village shinobi responsible for the organization created in their village.

What if the Rain Village joins the Allied Ninja Force?

If the Rain Village joins the Allied Ninja Force, it will fulfill the last wish of their predecessors, Nagato and Konan. Although Nagato was originally an enemy and attacked Konoha, in the end Nagato decided to put his trust in Naruto.

Nagato sacrificed his life to reverse the damage he caused and aid Naruto’s goals. Konan also put his trust in Naruto and abandoned Akatsuki. Konan died fighting Obito and promised to support Naruto on his path to peace.

The last wish of both leaders of the Rain Village is to support Naruto in his mission for world peace.

The villagers and ninjas of Rain Village consider Nagato as a “god” and Konan as an “angel”. The ninjas of the Rain Village are very loyal to Nagato and Konan.

It will make for a powerful moment if the shinobi decide to honor their leader’s last wish and join an alliance to protect Naruto. This will make Konan’s death more meaningful.

She promised to support Naruto but died before she could really support him. If the shinobi of the Rain Village join the fight, it’s like Konan is fulfilling his promise from behind the grave.

As it is now, the Rain Village is largely a ruin and has no leader. Just like during the 2nd and 3rd Great Ninja Wars, the Rain Village was considered mediocre and was left to rebuild on its own without any support.

If the Rain Village had joined the alliance, the other Villages might have seen their ninjas’ dedication and may have been moved in to assist them after the war. The Rain Village may have grown in strength and eventually joined the other villages as a shinobi world superpower.

After years of conflict, abandonment and manipulation, the Rain Village deserves respect and its importance recognized.
